A32027-294 is a precision-manufactured aerospace engine high-pressure turbine (HPT) rotor blade retainer pin, compliant with AS9100D quality standards and FAA/EASA regulations, designed for large commercial turbofan engines. It locks the HPT rotor blades in the rotor disk slots, preventing the blades from loosening or detaching under the extreme conditions of high rotational speed and high-temperature gas scouring, which is critical for maintaining the structural integrity of the HPT rotor, avoiding severe engine damage, and ensuring flight safety.
Made from high-strength, heat-resistant and oxidation-resistant nickel-based superalloy, it withstands operating temperatures up to 1470°C and continuous mechanical and thermal stress. Weighing 0.06kg with a precision-threaded locking structure, it allows for fast installation and tightness verification during HPT MRO overhauls. FAA Part 25 certified, it is a key component for HPT operational safety.
